We start by melting down pure cane sugar into a rich, golden caramel. We blend this caramel into our vegan ice cream base along with a healthy pinch of Bull’s Bay Saltworks Smoked Sea Salt. Talk about a perfect balance of salty sweet with a subtly smoky kick! Now let’s discuss those Salted Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies folded in. Our baker Pippa Allen (who recently had these cookies featured by @nytcooking) developed a vegan version of Julia Moskin‘s Salted Tahini Chocolate Chip cookies specially for our ice cream. Picture a toastier, nuttier version of the best chocolate chip cookie you’ve ever had – insane. For a harmonious vibe, we use Smoked Sea Salt in these cookies too.
