Vegan Bourbon Samoa
For our final flavor release of the Fall, we are thrilled to announce the return of a past best selling flavor with a new local twist: VEGAN BOURBON SAMOA!
Girl Scout Cookie lovers, rejoice! Our final release of the season is a tribute to the beloved caramel, chocolate, and toasted coconut cookie! We blend a local bourbon from Beyond Distilling Company into our vegan coconut ice cream base to make a smooth and rich bourbon coconut ice cream. The bourbon lends notes of maple, caramel and vanilla with a dark cacao finish. From here, we swirl in thick ribbons of house made fudge and caramel sauce and fold in handfuls of toasted organic coconut chips.
The craft bourbon in our recipe is used only for flavor as the alcohol content in this ice cream comes to just 1.3% abv. (You would need to eat about four pints of it to equal one light beer!!)
